August 2, 2021 Bishop Coadjutor Slate
The slate of candidates for Bishop Coadjutor of the Diocese of West Virginia was announced today. The three candidates are The Rev. Canon S. Abbott Bailey, The Rev. Canon Patrick A. Collins, and The Rev. D. Matthew Cowden. Click here to learn more about them.

July 27, 2021 Bishop Coadjutor Search Continues
Bishop Klusmeyer’s 2019 call for the election of a Bishop Coadjutor is proceeding. The candidate tour is planned for late August and a schedule of visits will be available soon. Click here to review a flow chart of the steps involved as well as key dates.

Worship Restrictions Continue to Lessen
Mask and social distancing requirements have been dropped. Congregational singing and social gatherings after services, known as coffee hour, have resumed. The Eucharist is being shared at the altar rail in the form of bread, the sharing of wine will resume at a later date.

June 6, 2021 Celebration of Ministry
Sandy Buzzerd’s dedicated and faithful service at St. Mark’s will be celebrated after the coffee hour immediately following the 9:00 a.m. service.
